Montreal is still looking for a no.1 centermen. Rumors about Comrie, Marleau, Briere, Gomez are still flying. The absence of Bouillon means that Montreal could bring in J.P. Cote or try to acquire David Tanabe via free agency or Vishnevski via trade.
If the Sabres trades Dumont and Biron, they will keep Briere. Or vice-versa.
Anson Carter is having tough times right now. He is looking at Detroit, Vancouver, Minnesota now in the mix, Toronto are all in the mix.
Petr Bondra as i reported in July, is deciding whether go to Washington or take his retirement.
The Oilers are speaking to the Devils for Scott Gomez, the Flames have inquired about the asking price for Gomez. It might be too pricey.

Elephantman, what makes you say that Montreal is still looking for no.1 centermen? Did you read it somewhere or is that just what you think. I would agree if Koivu would miss the beginning of the season, but it's not certain. He may be at 100% at the start of the season.
I hope your right. I wish MTL will get Marleau, or Comrie, or Brière, or Gomez (in that order) so Ribeiro gets booted out! YES!

Anyways, I also think that Comrie would be a better choice since he's bigger and wouldn't take all the glory. Also, Gomez played with Elias n Gionta: Much better players than Nagy and Doan. BUT, if Koivu doesn't return, then ur right Kilo41ak, Gomez would be a better choice. I'm just saying Comrie would be a good second line center behind Koivu, let's just hope he gets better.

I heard via my sources that MaGrand-mere st'une Lesbienne's grandmother might be the number one centerman the Habs have been looking for. She will be looked for her via trade in the deal that brings martha Stuart back in Jail
Perhaps the Caps will do a sign and trade of Bondra?
